A NEW CARD SWIMMING YOUR WAY

Greetings Everyone,

"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swim, swim, swim"

Here in Australia the weather has us kicking back in shorts with the a/c on, wishing we were relaxing at the beach. So why not celebrate the water by the beach while avoiding that inevitable sunburn by creating a card that brings the water to you.

This little cutie pie is quick and simple to make, perfect to make in bulk or to give to a friend you would like to say 'tanks' to!

Embrace The Cold With A Penguin Hug

Greetings Everyone,

"Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way"

The spirit of Christmas among us, cinnamon and gingerbread candles filling the air with such a mouth-watering aroma and candy-canes littering the shopping isle. Don't forget everyone it's only 6 weeks til' Christmas!

So to start off the holiday season I have created a little Ornament Shaker Card filled with glitter and love.
I am so happy with how the Night Sky turned out! My first time attempting a galaxy like background and I am so pleased as to how it looks. The colours and dimension, I honestly can't stop admiring it, as conceited as that sounds, haha.

Monster High

Greetings everyone!

10/11/2016
Well now that Halloween is well and truly gone and the stores aren't scared to remind us that Christmas is on the way (decorations up from the 1st on November!!) I decided to do a monster themed card, but giving those little monsters a well earned break.

Monsters and Halloween creepers have worked their little furry bottoms off spooking everyone, so why not reward with a cup of coffee and a cheeky pun?

So after quite the intro, here are the fuzzy little guys!

Here is our green guy, kermit.

Sadly I dropped a tiny bit of inky water on his cheek and it 'curdled' the paper. How it rolls a little and peels, tried to fix it the best I could and I think he still looks ok :)

And secondly, our blue buddie, Sully

The stitching is slightly off centre but as a perfectionist I can't seem to look past it, haha. But I love the vibrant colours and the contrast of blue and the yellow.

I think this would be a great card for a boys birthday party perhaps? Or a baby shower. Oh the ideas are flowing...

Witching You A Happy Halloween!

Greetings everyone!

31/10/2016
Although Halloween isn't widely celebrated here in Australia, it does prove to be a great time for card making and prompting use of colours I would usually avoid (...orange, *cough cough*..)

This week I decided to embrace the foreign holiday and get scrappy with the use of Witch Marci

Scrappy Details:

Paper - Standard watercolour cardstock
Background - Distress Inks
Stamp - Witch Marci (I have a quite old stamp that I can't find anywhere online, here is the updated     stamp sold now!).
